Monetary Donations
Plain and simple, we need your donation. If you would like to make a personal
or corporate (tax-deductible) contribution, please click the Donate Now button to make an online donation. Alternatively, you can mail or deliver your donation to us.

Donate Your Unwanted Vehicle
Why donate a vehicle? It’s much easier to donate your used car than it is

In-kind Gifts
If you have something you think we may need, we’d like to hear from you. Your in-kind gift means that we won’t have to buy it—freeing-up funds for other programs and services. We can use hygiene items, diapers, underwear, children’s toys and books, holiday gifts, et cetera.

Planned Giving
Share Your Legacy with HHCLA
A very meaningful and long-term way to help HHCLA and its mission to help the homeless of Los Angeles is through estate planning. In most cases the gift you make to HHCLA is ensured by naming Homeless Health Care Los Angeles as a beneficiary of your gross estate and/or as a remainderman (receiving the remainder of your estate after all other bequests have been provided).

Vehicle Donation Program
Why donate a vehicle? It’s much easier to donate your used car than it is to sell it yourself, the tax savings might even be more than what you would receive from a trade in.
Ironically, many people who have been forced from their home have had to make their car their place of residence. Though the Vehicle Donation Program is not about turning cars into shelters, the money we’ll receive from recycling the vehicle will benefit those in need the most.

What You Should Know First:
What Your Donation Provides
- A $25 donation provides a food voucher and referral and transport to a shelter.
- A $50 donation provides Hepatitis C or HIV Tests and Condoms for 10 people.
- A $75 donation provides 500 needles and safer injecting supplies.
- A $100 donation provides Parenting Classes and Childcare for 1 family.
- A $500 donation provides physical exams and wound care treatments for 20 people.
- A $1,000 donation provides psychiatric evaluations and initial treatment for 20 people.
