Background
Community Assessment Service Center (CASC) services are provided in partnership with substance abuse and mental health community-based organizations, such as Homeless Health Care Los Angeles.
Locations
Three CASC sites (Hollywood, Downtown Los Angeles, and Boyle Heights) offer the services detailed below. For the CASC nearest you, please call 800.564.6600.
Services
- Initial screening either in person or via telephone
- Comprehensive substance abuse and mental health assessments
- Referrals to drug/alcohol treatment and mental health services
- Referrals to vocational rehabilitation, housing, health, legal, and social services
- Medical screening, including screening for infectious diseases
- HIV/AIDS education and testing
